As I know from personal experience, Valentine’s Day can be a lonely affair.
Our hearts long for that special someone, but God hasn’t yet brought the right man into our lives. Meanwhile, it feels as if everyone else is either dating or married.

How we partner with God determines a lot in our walk with Him.
Sure, God can supernaturally provide for His kids. (And often does!) But, holistically, He wants us to partner *with* Him as we also depend *on* Him. God values His relationship with us, and also wants us to be actively involved in His Kingdom work.

Sometimes God puts us on a road that seems to be taking us further from our dreams.
For example, last spring,God called me to write a book. Then several months later, in addition to job hunting, He placed me in a long-distance relationship and called me to move across the country. As a result, I had to set aside Relate Escape for over a year.
But guess what? God wasn’t being illogical. His plan is just bigger than mine ….
